National Junior Honor Society Mission Statement
The purpose of the National Junior Honor Society shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship.
Members must be in good standing in terms of academic eligibility (2.0 G.P.A.) and excellent citizenship in their classes. Members must attend all meetings and participate in the service projects.
Service projects must fulfill a need within the school or community. Projects must be educationally defensible and have the support of the administration and faculty.
