Research Projects
Students explore self-selected topics to complete two research projects during the school year. In the winter, students research topics related to ancient Egypt and in the spring, ancient Greece or Rome. Emphasis is placed on the research process:
- note-taking from a variety of sources including the use of technology
- organizing information into outline form
- drafting (topic sentences and factual details)
- revising and editing
- bibliography
- Presentation of the final research projects is written, oral, and/or multi-media.
